Detailed description

The storage system is made up of pallet racks on which the logs are stored, a mobile lift that moves the pallet vertically, and a material receiving and loading station. Each shelf has a spacing that depends on the type and size of material stored – the minimum shelf spacing is 250 mm and the number of shelves can be up to 34 for a single rack.

The automatic racking for the storage of long goods is equipped with mechanical or “manual” controls. The operator can schedule the collection or insertion of the correct material. The content of each pallet is stored by the system, e.g. type, thickness and quantity of material.
